Hi, I might try to buy this plate, but I am completely unable to identify the mark. Any thoughts? It is supposed to be 200+ years old. Thanks!

The mark and rim decoration are typical Japanese, but cannot help with age.

Yes, as peterp said, this is Japanese, Kutani ware with a "Fuku" (happiness) mark. As to age, I am not sure, it could be Meiji (1868-1912) or newer? The red background reminds me of Mokubei. Mat
