Is this Blue and white dish Chinese or Japanese.

Hi Peter, I think that this is Japanese but I am not sure, I thought it was Chinese until I looked at the bottom and  you can see the kiln support spots on the bottom, and then looking closer at the decoration, the roofs on the buildings at the eves curve up is that a Japanese style I don't think I have seen that on Chinese porcelain, if this is Japanese it would put it in the edo period do you think. here is 16 photos to view. thanks for every thing.

Yes, the support spurs makes it look Japanese. Actually, overall it gives a different impression than Chinese ones do. There are some unusual, detailed windows and houses on the right side that also look different compared to the usual Chinese ones.
