Hello everybody,

Could you please share your impressions about this jar?

Personally I don't think it is from the Ming period, but i need a second opinion.

Any possibility of being a revivalist piece from Qing period? Or just a regular 20th century product?

All the best,

MB

A 20th century item, on the later side, in my view. The workmanship, colors used, decoration style and mark are all telltale signs of this. The simplest to tell is the mark. There were no such zhuanti character marks in the Ming dynasty, and to my knowledge there exist no marks with black on green background on traditional Chinese porcelain. You will find that on Japanese made items only, and possibly modern Chinese.
