Hi
I've been buying a few chinese figurines in the past couple weeks. Mostly from the early 20th C.
Any tips how to help dehua figurines? Does this one look old? Thanks

peterp

Probably 1930s or later. Can you see a seam at the sides, where the moulds of backside and front met?

ssbill

no seam, what does it mean?

peterp

Please check the Internet for 'mould seam', for more information. Thank you.

Thanks peter, sorry i didn't express myself clear enough. I know what a mould seam is. I was asking what does it mean when you see one. Should old pieces be seamless?
