SWATOW BLUE & WHITE PLATE-

Attached are some photos of a finely cracked plate from Swatow  which I am told is Ming.

Is it an early Ming or later.

Any advice is appreciated.

Early Ming is hardly possible, with this type of foot rim. Late Ming perhaps...
However, not sure if it could be Zhangzhou (Swatow) porcelain. It does not resemble the styles of Pinghe and Zhangpu kilns that I know. I say perhaps. My first impression was that the decoration looks more like Vietnamese; would not be strange because contemporary Vietnamese porcelain seems to have been influenced by Chinese styles.  Maybe you should look into this aspect also, because both Zhangzhou and Vietnam seem to have exported at about the same period.
I would also like to note that the wares of the  above mentioned two major kilns in the Zhangzhou era usually do neither have such a glossy glaze, nor this type and color of crackling.
