Hi Peter Stan and all

Would be grateful if you would take a look at this porcelain bowl for me , I am unsure where to place it , Chinese ? Japanese ? 19th century ? Ming?

small bowl approx 5 inch in diameter.

What do you make of the foot rim ?

Stan

Hi Carlyyoun, this looks like late 19th to early 20th century, Arita porcelain.

Thanks Stan , when I see the blue pooling of glaze around the inside of the foot rim , is that an indication of Japanese? along with the shape of the piece?

Stan

Hi Carlyoung, I can't really see the blue pooling on the inside of the foot rim in these photo's, I was basing it on the bright blue colbalt color and  the shape and design, I do not think that would be a thing to distinguish between chinese or Japanese, that could occur on either, it is the white ground that pools and has a bluish tone.
