Hi guys,

I'm new to collecting Chinese antiques and need your help!

I believe this is a Ming Dynasty style Shrine, please let me know what your thoughts are! There are some missing pieces and cracks on this item!

When was this made?

Whats it worth?

Stan

Hi Smak, this looks like stone ware, I could not find anything like this in my books or online, most shrines that I have seen are made of wood with gold overlay and small ceramic ones, sorry I can not comment, maybe Peter who has more experience will comment.

There are shrines like this, but those I have seen were roughly made, not as detailed as this one. I do not think this is something I can comment on in view to age or authenticity.

Thanks again for your insights Peter!
