Early republic Fencai bowl

Hi Peter, here is a bowl that I purchased at an antique shop, this has the exact same colors as a vase I have that I believe to be 1916, because of the mark on the vase, the mark on this is Guangxu, I do not think it is period because the painting looks a little sloppy for imperial porcelain, but it does have nice age look to it, your expert opinion is much appreciated, I will post 8 photo's, thanks for viewing.

Late Guangxu to republic is probably about right.

Thanks Peter, I wonder if the pooling of the purplish color is typical for that period, it is found on a vase that I have, however the painting on the vase is perfect but painted with the same pooling technique.

Are you talking about the darker areas in the crimson color? The brighter areas at the edge are just thinner. It would take some more effort to make it all the same depth.

Yes, the crimson color, it looks like they pooled it with the brush and then pulled it into the decoration.
