Chinese vase, is it antique or not?

25 years ago a friend of my parents gave this to them. He told us to take care as it was so valious and expensive. Now, we want to to know where and when was it made, and if it is really expensive or not. We tried to find something but we couldn't. I hope you guys can help me,  I will appreciate it so much.

No, it is not Antique, the gold is much to bright, late 20th century.

The mark is spurious, and also eligible, the vase would have a low collectors value.
