If you think about obtaining some Sancai wares, be sure to read the short article in the "Additional Info" board of this forum.

Hi Peter, there was a Kutani potter who used these green, yellow blue and a brownish purple color, I will try to find his name I can't think of it right now but high quality and his items go for a pretty penny. some of the dishes look like it could be his.
P.S. thanks for the information.

Hi Stan, the founder's name is Hiraga Gennai. The kiln was established in Kagawa prefecture it seems. There is information on him if you search for him in English. People here in Taiwan are apparently not aware of the existence these antique sancai wares. I also just heard about this by accident. This is just to draw attention to the fact that some of the items are clearly displaying good age signs.

Thanks again Peter for the web site and the name of the potter.
