Hi, I found this vase some days ago, 66 cm height.
Can you help me identifying it?
Thanks in advance!

Hello, you need to post larger images especially a couple of pictures of the bottom or foot rim.

Early 20th C. probably (republic of china). Like heavenguy said a photo of the bottom of the vase  may help

Pictures of the black writing are essential, especially the part on the left side. Sometimes it contains a cyclical date.

Dominique

Hi,
Some more pictures...

peterp

Made by Shi Jin-tang, cyclical date corresponds to 1998. This is a known Jainqiang painter of the Guangxu reign.

Dominique

Many thanks peterp for this information!
I'm not sure to understand the cyclical date... 1998 ?

Dominique

Me again, where do you see the signature on the picture?

peterp

The name is contained in the writing. You need to be able to read Chinese to see it.

Dominique

Peterp, what about the cyclical date?

Dominique

Found this one...

Large Vase with the year Wu Nian, 1906, in the inscription. No mark:

Sorry, that was a typo, should have been 1898.
The date is also within the text.
