Help Dating Blue & White Dragons Vase Double Circles Mark

I am not sure if calling it vase is right. It is 6 1/2" tall,3 1/4" in diameter at the opening, weights a bit over 2 pounds.
I doubt that it is from Kangxi period but does not look to be very recent either. Any help with approx. age?

I agree to your view, that it probably is not Kangxi but not new either. It would be interesting to look at the tail of the dragon, as that may give some indication, sometimes...

There is a big gap between "Kangxi" and " Not New" , so is there other way to narrow down the time frame?

Don't you find the shape a little bit strange. Like it is too short and the opening is too big?

The dragon's tail looks like a 19th century tail.
This would be a Pipa vase (translated from the Chinese), so called because its shaped resembles the body of a Chinese lute. Usually the mouth is proportionally smaller, though.

Thanks for the info. It is interesting to know you can tell the age from the tail of the dragon. What exactly did you see there?
About the name of the shape, is there any term in English for it?
