Hello,

Got this gu vase with Kangxi mark.
Could it be of the period? The rim and the base look good.

I'd like to have your opinion.

Here are some pictures:

This is a phoenix tail vase.
I'm afraid, without seeing proper colors (daylight) and a few close-ups of the decoration it is difficult to tell anything. The color tone of the blue pigment is important for evaluation. The mark means nothing as copies also used it. To the contrary, private kilns were forbidden from using one during part of the Kangxi reign, thus more often than not items that have it are from a later time.
The gloss of the glaze is also a bit strong. Light being reflected is normal, but if the background details are reflected in it the glaze is often too shiny for a period item.
