Large Chinese Bowl.

Hi, My first post here.  I have a large Chinese bowl that measures 11 1/2" that I would like help identifying.  The colors are a little faded and worn.  It may have been left outside for a period of time .

Is the pattern famille rose or famille verte?  Is that a phoenix in the center?  What is the shape called?  Approximate age?

Hi Jerry, could you post a photo of the whole bottom at an angle so we can see the shape, this is a basin bowl, you are right it is famille rose and dates to the Guangxu period.

This is indeed a washbasin.
It is Peranakan porcelain (Nyonya ware), essentially Chinese export for the Peranakan communities in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia, about Tongzhi/Guangxu reign. It has normal age signs.
The phoenix and/or peony usually are central in all types of Peranakan porcelain.
