Stan will probably know where this is from. There is a Mine 峰 character mark.

This looks modern, unfortunately I did not find the mark in my book, if I had to guess, I would say made in or around Owari, Lets see if someone else can identify it, it looks like a makers mark, sorry I could not be more helpful.
