Vietnamese or Chinese or other - Help with bizarre mark

Hi,
struggling to find what is this, any help appreciated !
Please look the mark, very vague. Notice 2 parralel curved lines below the blue mark and in between  two characters, the one looks like Y, the other almost upside down ''V'' but again I am not sure. Vase bought in Saigon, Vietnam 1966 from my parents. Thank you

First I would ask to upload better images. The bottom one is much too small, too dark, and showing no details closeup. The mark (if this is a mark) is secondary to identification. Better also show the place where it is located.
