Hi all! I have had this piece for a few years now. Even though the top is missing, (have been told it would have had a metal top?) I really like it. Any info, date/ origin would be appreciated. Cheers :)

This is Kyoto Satsuma style 1920 - 1930. I do not think this had a metal top, it is just broken at the top, the older ones could have had metal usually done in France, it was called Ormolu.
