Does it look like Japanese porcelain or a later chinese piece?

Japanese with a Ming Wanli mark.

Depending on the size would determine what this was used for, the shape looks like a Soba-Choko Cup, the mark is unusual, usually you see a Chenghua marks and the great Character would have a dot under it which was used during the Edo period the dot indicating greatest instead of great, I did find a Ming Wanli mark that was used during the Edo period but this looks later to me also the Ormolu mount is done in bronze which makes me think later Meiji period or later.
