Green porcelain bowl for identification

Hi Peter,
Would like to know if this is a genuine chinese antique .Could you comment on the period and what is depicted by the nine figures ? Does the mark inside the double ring indicate a signature? Are green ware marked with blue figures common?
There are two holes on the bottom rim like they were punched out are they of later origin?Probable source along the silk route

I'm afraid this is a recent fake, and a low quality one. This bowl has a Ming Wanli mark but it is transfer printed, and the base, etc. are all wrong. The holes would normally suggest that it was subjected to TL analysis, but this would be unnecessary with such an easy to recognize fake.

That is one costly disappointment for me.Could you point out the specific discrepancies so i can avoid a similar mistake in the future

Everything. The glaze the shape of the foot rim and, before all the decoration. No antique porcelain made in China is printed. You will have to learn the basics of Chinese antique identification. There is no other way.
