Dear Members,

I was wondering what your thoughts on this vase are. It is in perhaps a baluster form with an iron red Qianlong stamp mark. I would think mid-20th Century at the earliest.

Thank you,

Bokaba

Hi Peter,

What are your thoughts on this one? I am leaning toward modern reproduction, not Republic Period.

Thank you,

Bokaba

Stan

Hi Bokaba, yes I would have to agree, mid 20th century to later, the foot rim is typical for that time period.

Thank you Peter and Stan. So we would be looking anywhere from around 1950s onward. Is there any way to tell what time frame in the second half of the 20th Century?

Thank you,

Bokaba

Stan

The faces are a big indication, life like faces like these I believe started in the 60's and onward, and there appears to be no age signs.
