Japanese cup, early 20th?

Hello I was wondering your guys thoughts on this one. This came from a lady who used collect a lot of Chinese and Japanese ware. This cup was really cheap but in good shape. anyone knows the mark too?

Hi Heavenguy, my thoughts are 20th century, the porcelain does not appear to have any age signs, the gold is in perfect condition and I do not think that the Japanese ever had a mark like this, unless someone can prove me wrong, I think it is a Chinese recently made item.
