"New Fencai" Floral Decorated Plate

Wonder if that could be from the Republic Period?  Not sure what do you call the decoration - Qianjiang?, Fencai Ci?
It is not very clear from the photos but the rim is slanted on the outside and straight on the inside.
Are similar style decorated pieces sought among collectors? They are usually very finely painted but not as pretty as the one with Asian scenes.

If this is Chinese, then it might be a couple of decades at the most, I suspect. But, apart from the foot rim I cannot detect anything that looks Chinese. Could be made anywhere. Not one of the traditional Chinese painting/decoration styles either...

It is the vase from 1924. Chinese Ceramics Discussion / Cylindrical Vase Flowers Writings Seal.
Maybe I am wrong but the decoration look similar to me. There are no seals or other writings so I guess it would be hard to date it. Not sure if
similar style would be considered Qianjiang, popular during the Late Qing/Early Republican Period?

Both have western style flowers, that is for sure, but the writing on the former still lets us know this is Chinese, and about from what period. This one has no Chinese elements in the decoration.

Personally, I also feel that the flowers on the current item are painted in a more modern style.
