identifying chinese ceramics part 1

Hi Everyone
I,m new here
I like collecting old and new antiques and have several different items scattered about my house.
Recently  Ive been given  a few bits of chinese porcelain
some of it I,m quite interested in keeping as I think it looks rather nice
can anyone help in giving them an id and date
I keep a little book with my treasures iinfo in so when I,m long gone my son will know that its not all tat!

I agree with Peter, it is Japanese, although I have never heard of that name before.

Thank you good sirs  I will make a note of this and try to read up about it ...(sorry thought it was Chinese) Are you aloud to put japanese stuff on here ..I have one more Japanese tea set I wanted an id for?

Hi thanks for letting me post this. I didnt realize until i looked closely there are two different sets this small set and it is only a couple of cups and saucers is so fragile it has a beautiful sheen to it the inside looks like mother of pearl and the colours so vivid and bright the marking reads  MADE IN JAPAN in black wrighting or it may be dark brown .There are no other marks
