Hi Peter, this jar is 24.511 cm high and is 30.48 cm wide, this looks to me to be 19th century, but I'm not sure, it is old, the Gentleman that I purchased it from has owned it for over 40 years and has an unbelievable collection, I would like your opinion of it, thanks for viewing.

The colour is too bright for an antique.

The shape of this jar is not a Qing dynasty shape.
As Shelley pointed out, the green color is a bit too light for an 'apple green' decoration. The crackles are uniform, which means they were artificially created and are not age signs.
The apocryphal Chenghua mark seems to be using a mark and writing style predominant in the early 18th century. To me this is a further sign that it is 20th century. I doubt that this is one of the apocryphal marks used in the Guangxu reign. 20th century, vintage, perhaps, but not earlier than republic in my view.
