Antique/ Vintage Chinese Famillle Rose Ginger Jar

Hi all, would appreciate some input on this ginger jar, pics attached. My friend told me his parents purchased in Manila 60 years ago and were told it was very old?? thank you

This is either fake or refurberished antique. However, the mark was made by someone who tried to imitate the appearance of Chinese characters but apparently has not idea of Chinese character writing.
