Hi there,

I'm looking to collect more of these vases but I don't know what I'm looking for. Any help identifying would be great. It is approximately 14" tall and 7" wide. Paid $35 for this one, and it would be nice to know if I paid too much! Picture is only of the stamp on the bottom, and the poem/writing on the back. The front has a very pretty water and dojo house scene. Much more detail than I can picture!

The blue mark says  中華民國金門陶瓷 Republic of China, Kinmen Porcelain. Republic of China is Taiwan, Kinmen is an outlying island famous for its Gaoliang liquor; much of the latter is filled in porcelain bottles also made in Kinmen for this purpose.

The red mark is an inspection mark that just means it is a Kinmen product.

These are probably not antiques at all, a part of Kinmen's liquor is still being sold in locally made porcelain bottles.
