Please forgive the rookie question but the image between the bats, is this an insect? a word? And what does the  entire panel represent? I'm trying to understand the symbolism.

I see in the forum rules it is ok to ask where you folks buy or sell. I also understand some may not want to reveal such information.

Does anyone here buy or sell on ebay?

It is all right to make general questions in that respect. Just don't mention specific sellers or user names. Otherwise, we may have lots of dealers promoting their sites here. The main purpose of this site is helping each other authenticating or dating items.

This said, I have bought items off Ebay - good, genuine antiques, but you have to be careful. There are much too many fakes on offer there.
