I recently bought this vase, and I would like to know the age because it seems so well detailed it's hard for me to tell if it's an antique or not. Also, I would like to know what kind of flower this vase has I haven't seen this motif anywhere.

Hi, judgingby the thick enamels and some of the colors used this is more likely to be from the late Qing dynasty or 20th century. That means the mark is probably apocryphal. If possible, try someone do a hands-on inspection.

Thanks again Peter, I once added the vase to Lofty.com and had a free evaluation from an "expert" of Chinese antiques. He said it's "Qianlong mark but of later period, Late 19th/early 20th century" do think these appraisers have credibility?

Stan

No, I do not think they have credibility, like peter said, a hands on inspection is, in my view the best way, I have had several items appraised on line, and most of them were wrong and if you read the fine print, they do not guarantee anything.
