Hi,
Someone gave me a Chinese Fisherman & Swan figure. They said it was probably made  in XVIIth c. by Mao Jisheng, Dehua Potteries, F?ji?n. Could you please take a look at the figure itself and the markings and voice your opinion as to maker/date? Thank you.

Mao Jisheng was a manufacturer of figurines in the republic period (1911-1949). You will find more examples by doing an image search for "????".

This is not a swan. The swan is virtually unknown from Chinese arts. It could be that it is little known because it is a bird of the northern regions. The feet show that it is either a heron/egret or more probably a crane.

Thank you very much, will do.

Please bear with me. Do you think this figurine does belong to Mao Jisheng?

Sorry, I do not know. You would have to be specialized on later Chinese ceramics to know that.
