Could someone help me translate the marks on this plate please?

Hi all, I received this plate from an older relative a few years ago, he didn't tell me anything about where it's from or how old it is so just wondering if anybody can translate the stamp on the back please? I've searched the web but I have had no luck. Thanks in advance :)

The mark reads "no-se" in Japanese.
