My jar resembles a neolithic chinese handled jar. This I found through google images. It's 7 inches tall and 17 1/2 inches around. It has 2 hand applied handles. The jar has what looks like rings around it, 1/2 to 1 inch between lines. It's rough to the touch and the bottom s unpolished. There is a small chip at the top rim.
I am curious as to the age of the jar. Is it chinese and is it neolithic? I would like to sell it and want to post it with honest and proper descriptions.
Where can I get an appraisal without spending a lot of money?
My son purchased some old pottery pieces in Los Angelos, California about 10 years ago. This is one of them.
Any information would be appreciated.
