Title: Third Small Chinese? Plate
Post by: carolfsvt on Dec 05, 2014, 06:11:16
This is the third plate I have.  It is 5 1/4", no cup ridge. The plate has raised paint on it.  Is this enameled? Chinese? Antique?  What kind of bird is it? I can barely see the red mark on this plate even under magnification.  I have a photograph of the front, back and mark(as best I could).

I'm looking for any info on this plate.

This is a common item, usually found as a dish. Late Qing dynasty to early republic.
