Title: Small Chinese vase markings
Post by: Mark on Nov 28, 2014, 05:14:33
Hello, I am a beginning collector of Chinese/Japanese porcelain, I've recently acquired a small Chinese vase at an upscale estate sale and have been trying very hard to identify the markings on the bottom of the vase.

I was wondering if someone could please help me with these markings.

Thank You

Mark

It says "Made in Jingdezhen, China". Marks with this wording are always not antique, made in the second half of the 20th century or later. The shape is also not antique, I'm afraid.

Thank You, I figured that it didn't look too old but I liked it when i saw it at the estate sale and I couldn't beat the price.

Thanks Again
