Title: Famille fish bowl
Post by: beachgirlatheart on Nov 24, 2014, 03:08:21
I want to know more about this fish bowl. Is it antique or a reproduction? It has no markings I can see and no designs on its interior but 4 floral designs on its rim. Also want to know its value. there are 2 old price tags that list it at $1100.00.
I can post more pictures if that would help.
Thank you!!

Just upload pictures to a site like Photobucket and post the link in the forum. This way the size does not matter much.

The background is shiny gold.

Bottom and decoration look like a more recently made item. The decoration gives  the impression as if the black outlines were printed and then the colors painted filled in, possibly by hand.

It is made in China, but I think it is only two or three decades at the most.
