Title: Very old Celadon Longquan Tea Cups?
Post by: decoflyer on Nov 12, 2014, 04:58:00
I'm looking for opinions as to what these are, how old they may be, what sort of value they may have. They are slightly different sizes but each one measures about 1-3/8" tall x 2-3/4" top diameter x 7/8" foot.

They appear to be very old with plenty of chipping around the rim and each has several hairline cracks running through. Both have a cobalt blue dot on the bottom...some sort of mark?

Thanks!!

Tea or wine cups. As there is neither a readable mark nor otherwise a decoration, we can only rely on age signs and glaze/shape for evaluation. In my view this could be early 19th century.
