Title: Shaving mug Japanese?
Post by: Qst42know on Sep 26, 2014, 21:32:18
This measures roughly 3-1/4" tall and 3-1/4" wide. I believe this is a shaving mug.

Any clues to the age in the decorations?

Is the mark readable?

Early to mid 20th century.

Thanks.

The form is right for a shaving mug but it's not near as robust as it's western counterparts. That could be why I cant find any like it.
