Post by: Stan on Sep 25, 2014, 06:09:13
Hi Peter, here is another vase I misplaced in my palace of fine Chinese antique porcelain, this vase is 36.3 cm tall and 24.7 cm wide, it has an old repair and is missing the lid, I am not sure how old it is I think it is late 19th century but I am not sure, your expert opinion appreciated, I will include 16 photos to view, thanks.

I'm afraid I have doubts about the authenticity of this one, Stan.
There are too many discrepancies, like an abnormal shape, the blue color, the way the dragon is painted and, before all, too many ages signs. They could have been deliberately created.
The decoration along the base is also strange.

A castle may have a dungeon, but a palace...?

My palace is on a budget, I could not afford a ball room so I got stuck with a dungeon, I might have to sell some of my Chinese antique Porcelain.
