Hi this bowl is being offered to me.
IT HAS A DAMAGED COVER BUT BASE IS FINE.
Is this period or newer?
Thoughts?

Sorry for the capitals my keyboard is playing Up.

Hi Calder, nice bowl with lid, the six character Chenghua mark is spurious, the bowl looks like it could be early republic 1912 to 1949.
