Title: identification of my pieces

Hi, would someone be able to identify my two pieces inherited from my mother in law.  I think they are possibly post WW2.

I don't read japanese or chinese. But I see in the foto the base clay, firing, the bowl look likes 19th century bowl.

The motif is lotus flower is resembles chinese model.

The model of bowl tend to japanese..But japanese or chinese the importan ting the bowl is looks 19th century bowl for me..

This is Japanese Kutani and Tonny is correct it is late19th century.

Thank you Tonny and Stan, I didn't think it was that old.  I wonder where she got it as she spent many years in New Guinea before the war and lost everything when evacuated during the war.  Can you tell me where I could get more information please.

Try www.gotheburg.com and then look under Japanese marks, the marks on both items are late 19th century marks, the later would say Japan and then later would be made in Japan.
