Title: Is this a Kangxi blue and white vase with mark and period?
Post by: Stan on Aug 27, 2014, 09:01:12
Hi Peter, could you tell me if this vase is a Kangxi period vase, it is made in 3 sections and looks old the blue is all under glaze and you can see large bubbles in the glaze, the vase is 24.1 cm tall and the widest point is 11.1 wide, the porcelain seems to be a very fine porcelain you can see light through it however the unglazed foot rim is very gritty to the touch, I will send 12 photos to view, thanks.

This is the same as the other one, although the blue color of this one is clearly Guangxu (some call it Kangxi revival) export porcelain.
