Title: Large Sang De Boeuf bottle vase
Post by: Stan on Aug 08, 2025, 04:08:20
Hi Peter, I know it is hard to tell the age on Monochromes but this is a very nice example, It is 53.34 cm high a nice even color and small pitting in the glaze and very even drip glaze on the bottom, I have not seen one this size they are usually smaller, I would like to know what you think of age, It is hard to get the right color in the picture of the full vase it is as dark as the pictures show the bottom the oxblood color in those pictures are the right ox blood color, Thanks Peter.

Hi Stan, this looks right to me. Late Qing dynasty, probably Guangxu reign, in my view.
