Title: A monochrome dish with Qianlong mark
Post by: heavenguy on May 25, 2025, 22:36:03
Hi, I bought this dish in a local estate sale.

Personally I think it is 19th century but not sure about it. mark looks alright. I think the republic period ones has the 2 instead of the 5 on the mark right? only flaw is 4 hairlines and some light scratches. mark looks alright. about 7 inches.

foot looks okey too, the color is not really red but has a purplish soft hue to it. kind of like peach bloom but who knows. Any help will be of much appreciation. thank you in advance.

Looks good to me. Likely mark and period, not 19th century, in my view. This has good age signs and is from a private kiln. Congratulations for this find.
