Is there someone out there who knows this?
I have had this for a long time but never found out more than what I see.
The red color is all under the glaze, including the rim. The rest is all on-glaze enamel.
The decoration style and age traces seem to point to Guangxu, but the foot rim is not typical for that period, meaning its shape is not typical like that made at Jingdezhen kilns of the period. Could it have been made in Hong Kong or Macao?

Thanks Adriano, I forgot the most important thing it seems.
I have no image of the bottom available right away as the charger is not with me just now. It has a stamped (!) red Kangxi six-character mark, which supposedly indicates Guangxu or (likely) later.
There is no plate rim as with the usual plates; it has just a slightly rounded surface and no flat interior or bent upward rim. This would probably be a charger, due to its size.
Color-wise I would not wonder if it was Japanese, but the decoration itself... the presence of olive green would point to late Qing or later, more likely republican period, but then again, the painting style, faces, etc. are not of the type frequently seen later in the 20th century. I would also like to note that I do not remember seeing Chinese porcelain that has underglaze red of this type and then an enamel decoration in other colors.
I do not know much about later Canton wares, and those made for export in Hong Kong and Macao. But, I doubt that those would have a Kangxi mark.

since there are no comments, I would like to give my personal view.
Judging by the decoration it seems to me Kangxi revival in the famille verte palette, late 19th to early 20th century.
