Title: Miniature cup
Post by: Adriano on Sep 09, 2024, 21:15:15
I have this miniature piece 5,5W X 4,5H cm.
I think it is a Chinese tea cup, I wonder if it could be antique.
I would like to have opinions.

Thank you.

Looks as if it is vintage at least. But it would require verification of the character which has more strokes. I could not identify it due to the handwriting. The purpose is to see whether it could be simplified Chinese. I assume you know what that would mean.

And, if the cup is very small it is more likely a liquor cup.

Thank you Peter and Heavenguy,

I would like to mention that the cup has four characters, here the others.
Not sure if they can help for the strokes.
The cup in the indicated reference looks very similar, apart three characters instead of four
