Title: Imari Style Bowl
Post by: Kaaren B. on Jun 19, 2024, 01:51:42
Can anyone read this mark? The bowl is either Imari or Imari-style, I'm not sure. I couldn't find the mark anywhere, although I found a couple of the individual characters separately on varied pieces. Thanks! Kaaren B.

This mark has only two characters, read from top down - 醍醐  daigo.

Thanks, Peter! I did a search and at once found that there is a Daigo kiln, part of the Arita family. The kiln is still in operation and has engineered a new, warm, earthy-colored line. Kaaren
