Title: 6 Character Kangxi marked Famille noir vase
Post by: jinxesantiques on Aug 23, 2014, 09:45:04
Hello everyone, I purchased this vase at a flea market and it seemed like it had some age to it. If it is old, is it common to find an after period kangxi mark without circles? Any opinions from you guys/girls would be great. Thank you

Does the blue enamel mean its rather recent. I notice that any earlier noire vases do not have that colour.

The foot rim does not look like Kangxi, rather late Qing dynasty, at least.
