The mark is upside down.
I cannot read the characters because this is not a normal zhuanshu style mark as generally used on porcelain. Seems to a private mark, but not sure what it says. Perhaps someone involved with seals might be able to tell?

I found a mark in my book on marks, it means " Mountain Lodge of the Red Artemisia, Hong xiao shan fang " (Repulic period) the mark is not exactly but so close.
Probably it is right as you say, Stan. I can read only the top two characters, but not the lower ones.
