Title: Need help Identifying
Post by: smittysez on Oct 21, 2022, 04:10:16
Can anyone help identify these?
They are deep cobalt blue glaze cups with saucers.
Thanks in advance.

Porcelain with this mark 永樂 might be Japanese. On Chinese porcelain it appears only on three period pieces, the rest are all later apocryphal marks and modern fakes. This is perhaps Japanese.

I think I found it.
I think they are Meiji period Eiraku ceramics from Kyoto, Japan.

If anyone else can tell me more, please post.

Thanks for your help !!

Eiraku is mostly Red with gold decoration, but this is a Eiraku mark 1913 to 1926.
