Title: a very old figurine?

Here are the photos of a figurine which I bought together with the teapot. She looks quite ancient but that's probably too good to be true.

Hi Anna, this one looks older, but the antique figurines would have a hand molded hollow base and you would be able to see finger prints in the clay, this looks like it was cast molded mid 20th century.

Seems to be a low quality copy of Sancai wares. Low quality means the real features of those were not copied accurately. Taking into consideration that it is earthenware and made to look old it is more likely for tourists than the antique trade.

One should always beware of anything with so much synthetic dirt on it.
