Title: Japanese Porcelain mark translation please #2
Post by: 2fat2slow on Apr 26, 2022, 14:39:08
Hi Peter,

I do have few Japanese porcelain items which I can't fully understand. I was not able to get a translation for this mark either. Will you be kind enough to take a look into this mark?

Kind regards

From a calligraphic perspective this looks nice, but unfortunately the handwriting here too is difficult to read, I'm afraid. This is the case with many handwritten Japanese marks. These are more meant as an artist's signature, telling who made something, than a kiln or company mark, which would be easier to read.
